How do I start playing?
Create your account and jump straight in from your browser. If a client is published for your platform, it appears under Where to play.
Do I need to download anything?
No. The full game works in your browser, including on mobile. Any published client is optional.
Is it free? What is CN Coin for?
You can create an account and play for free. CN Coin comes from eligible rewards or purchases and is used for optional services and customization. It does not directly buy Dirty Money, Clean Money, troops or victories.
How much time do I need a day?
As much as you want. The economy runs 24/7 and daily missions reward short sessions, but war rewards consistency.
Do I have to choose a faction? Is it permanent?
There are seven factions, including Bratva. Starting choices depend on open regions and available slots. You can later change faction with CN Coin without bypassing territory rules.
Is it PvP or PvE?
Both. Territorial war between players (PvP) and a daily board of missions against the environment (PvE).
Are Costa Nostra and Cosa Nostra the same thing?
Costa Nostra is the name of the game. Cosa Nostra is a recognizable mafia reference and also appears as a faction inside the game’s fictional universe.
Is Costa Nostra a browser mafia game?
Yes. You can manage a family, conquer territory, launder money and compete against other players directly in your browser.
Does it include organized crime and white-collar crime?
Yes. Beyond assaults and conquest, the game includes money laundering, shell companies, audits, legal pressure, bribes and institutional contacts.
Is La Triada inspired by Triple Triad?
Yes. La Triada is inspired by the 3x3 board and side-capture logic of Final Fantasy VIII’s Triple Triad, adapted to Costa Nostra with decks, PvE, PvP and its own rewards.
How does the 1,776-zone world work?
The released world contains 1,776 playable zones: 480 in Europe and the Mediterranean, 132 in Japan, 264 in Latin America and 900 in Russia. You receive a Neighborhood in an eligible region with an available starting slot.
Do configurable notifications appear inside the game?
The game has an inbox and in-game alerts. You can also enable browser notifications or push on a supported mobile client and choose which categories to receive.
Is there a tutorial?
Yes. A step-by-step guide, the Consigliere, walks you through your first moves.
What stage is the game at?
Costa Nostra is in its first official season. Europe, Japan, Latin America and Russia make up the released world. Starting slots depend on occupancy and regional admission. The United States and Road Crows are in development.
