How Costa Nostra plays

A direct explanation of the game before you sign up: zone, economy, operations, recruits, companies and police pressure.

01

Everything starts in your current zone

Every action starts from the zone where you stand. It produces DM, holds your garrison, hosts buildings and defines where operations, recruits and movements leave from.

  • Claim a protected zone at the start
  • Move between your owned zones
  • Choose concrete targets on the map
02

DM and CM do different jobs

Dirty Money pays for street power, hits, bribes and immediate pressure. Clean Money comes from laundering DM and builds long-term infrastructure.

  • DM arrives hourly through production
  • CM unlocks buildings and companies
  • Too much laundering raises Search
03

Buildings and companies add depth

Buildings improve a zone and unlock systems. Companies launder automatically, but they need upkeep, requirements and tolerance for risk.

  • 8 buildings with different uses
  • 5 company tiers
  • Automatic laundering 24/7
04

Not everything is solved by attacking

Operations mix force, intelligence, dirty legality, extortion and logistics. Picking the right approach matters more than pressing the loudest button.

  • Assault and conquest for territory
  • Espionage and sabotage to read rivals
  • Legal pressure and bribes to slow heat
05

Recruits are tools, not numbers

Each profile has a purpose: some take streets, some hide paperwork, some protect routes or freeze rival companies. Composition changes the plan.

  • 5 street profiles
  • 4 intelligence profiles
  • 4 legal/logistics profiles
06

Search is the clock tightening

Every laundering run, hit and ambitious structure creates noise. When Search rises, you need contacts, favors and defensive decisions to keep the network alive.

  • Raids and audits
  • Favors to put out fires
  • PvE missions to recover breathing room

Quick read

  • Optimize one zone before expanding without defense.
  • Recruit street, intelligence and legal layers: one layer makes you predictable.
  • Use PvE missions to fund the start, but territory decides the long game.
  • Do not launder everything at once without contacts ready to absorb Search.
